Avalanche Forecast
Vail Pass is uncontrolled avalanche terrain. Check the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) forecast before every trip, and carry a transceiver, shovel, and probe.
Weather
Current conditions and the mountain forecast for the pass from NOAA, so you know what the day and the drive will bring.
Road Conditions
Check I-70 and mountain road conditions, closures, and chain laws before you drive. Live cameras cover the corridor through Vail Pass.
